#39) Comedians Nic Dean and Aaron Mad Dog Rufus (Christmas Beers)

This week we sit down with comedians Nic Dean and Aaron “Mad Dog Rufus” Graham to review Christmas beers from Breckinridge, Woods Boss, Upslope and more. We also discuss nicknames, working in breweries, stealing, chocolate with savory foods, drinking at comedy shows, and debate what make a Christmas beer.

#38) Knotted Root Brewing

This week we head west to Nederland, Colorado to visit with Knotted Root Brewing to interview Jordan, Evan and Chris. We chat all about their Goo and Paste series, Phish, Frozen Dead Guy Days, brewery dogs, moving to a small town, and ski season amongst other subjects.

This week we had to Windsor, Colorado to meet with Nick from Peculier Ales to discuss opening a brand new brewery, tornadoes, back souring, self distribution, and regional shitty beers amongst other things.

#36) Kuma’s Corner

In this episode we sit down and welcome Kuma’s Corner, a metal themed burger joint based in Chicago to their brand new Denver location. Topics discussed include being new to Denver, drinking out of bongs, stoner movies, work energy, local art and of course, Malort.

This week Korey and Steve head to the promise land of Greeley, Colorado to visit one of our favorite breweries - Weldwerks Brewing to meet with Skip and Jake! In this episode we talk about Shmoozing, working with some of the best brewers in the country, creating whatever you want, the future of hard seltzers, Japanese Kit Kat flavors, drunk food, and food trucks.

#33) Westbound and Down

This week we travel to Idaho Springs, Colorado to visit the home of the Gold-Diggers as well as one of our favorite breweries Westbound and Down. We discuss being a tourist destination, working with neighbors, entrepreneurship, An extra deep dive into negative reviews, public drinking, beer crushability, and a bunch of other things with Jake and Derek! It’s our longest episode so far!

In this episode, we sit down with comedians Harrison Garcia and Ed Bell to rate Pumpkin beers, as well as discuss topics like their production company Ok Ringo, video games, comedy on the road and our favorite Denver breweries.

#31) Outworld Brewing

In this episode, we head back up to Longmont, CO to meet with the staff of the brand new Outworld Brewing. We discuss first days on the job, beer recipes, working with family, being in the industry for decades, and opening a brewery two weeks before the government mandated shut down. We apologize that there are some audible technical difficulties throughout this episode.

#30) Bierstadt Lagerhaus

This week we head back to Denver’s RiNo neighborhood to meet with Chuck and Ashleigh from Beirstadt Lagerhaus. We discuss perfecting and offering only one style of beer, green beans, children in breweries and know what systems do what inside of the brewery.
